No. All the compulsory fields have to be filled in order to complete the registration form. These compulsory fields provide essential information about you to other members who view your profile on the site.
No, we can send the proposals on only the Current email address mentioned by you on the form. You can however change your email address at any time if you wish to do so.
We have tried to be as comprehensive as possible while creating the list used in the registration form. But there is a possibility that a particular Religion / Caste / Community / Education etc may not be listed and hence we request you to use the Others option which is provided to you.
Also you can Write to Customer Service clearly listing the new addition that you would like us to make. We do not guarantee that the same will be incorporated but we shall try our level best to ensure that it is done.
The Manglik option mainly applies to the Hindu religion. In case of Hindu Weddings, it is preferred if a Manglik guy enters into a matrimonial alliance with a Manglik girl and vice versa. The Manglik option is important to those people who are particular about horoscopes. If you are not aware whether you are a Manglik or No, you may select the "Don't Know" option as your answer. People who do not belong to Hindu Religion can mention the same as Don't Know.
This information is mainly required by people who believe in horoscopes as they can generate an automatic horoscope with the birth time and city and then match the horoscopes. If you are not aware about these details mention as 00:00. However, we recommend that you try and find these answers and enter them later.

The User name identified your profile on our site. Every member on the site has a user name. You need to remember this user name as will require the same to log into InMatri.Com.
Yes, You can log in to www.InMatri.Com with the Email address mentioned at the time of creating the profile. You can also log in with the User name.
Your user name can contain alphabets, numbers and underscore (_) character. Your user name should not contain information like Telephone Numbers, Email Address, Fax numbers etc. You are not allowed to use a Space in the User Name.
Mention your contact details only in the contact detail fields. Do not display your contact details in the other fields and also do not mention any vulgar details on the profile. Be as detailed as possible while creating your profile.
One profile is allowed for every registered member.

This is because the user name that you have mentioned is already chosen by another member of InMatri.Com. You need to choose an user name which is not yet been registered by another member of InMatri.Com.
It is not compulsory, but you need to mention the details about what are your preference of a marriage partner with regards to Age, Height, Body, Education, Occupation, Marital Status, Religion, Case and Community, Income. Other members can view the Looking for details and if that matches their profile then they can Initiate a Contact with you.

These looking for details will be mentioned along with your profile on our website to all other InMatri.Com members.
No. As per our statistics, the member response rate is 10 time higher for picture profiles.
You can submit the picture in three ways:
a) You can send us your photo via snail mail at:

These photos will be scanned by us and put up along with your profile free of cost. Please mention your user ID and password on the back side of the photograph.

b) Upload photo online: If you already have a scanned photograph you can upload it directly to your profile (Jpeg/GIF format) when you are filling in your profile information. (Each file max size = 500 KB).

c) Email your photo: You can email scanned snaps (Jpeg / GIF format) to support@inmatri.com.
Please mention your user ID and password in the main body of the email.
I am sorry but every profile requires to have a unique email id and you cannot create multiple profiles with the same email id. It will also be easy if you have two profiles with different email ids.
The log in option is found at the Centre Panel of Inmatri.com Home page. Please note that you need to mention either the user name which was mentioned at the time of profile creation or the email address at the time of creating the profile. The Log out option is available on the Left Side of the Top Panel.
In case you have forgotten the user name, call the customer service team on +91-022-67366711/715/723 and we will assist you. Alternatively you can Write to Customer Service mentioning you full name which is updated on the form and the email address and we shall revert back to you with the user name in 48 working hours.
In case you have forgotten your password, you need to click on Forgot password option on the Home page and an email will be sent to you on the email address specified on the registration form
No. Inmatri.com does not allow you to change the user name directly on the site. If you wish to change the user name, you will need to contact the customer service desk on +91-022-67366711/715/723 from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm on all days or Write to Customer Service.
Yes. You can change your password. All you need to do is log to Inmatri.com with your user name and existing password. Click on the Edit profile option in My Inmatri Section. On doing this the entire profile will be displayed, you can change the password, confirm the same and then click on Submit at the end of the page.
As per our statistics, the member response rate is 10 times higher for picture profiles and hence we request you to add your photograph. The most viewed profiles are those that have a photo. So we advise you to attach a photo to increase your chances of finding your partner quickly.
Go to the My Inmatri Section and click on Upload Photo,you will be able to upload your photograph to your profile online.
You can always email or post us your photo if you want it updated on your profile.
The reason for error could be that, you have not selected the JPG format. Your photo needs to be in the JPG format as Inmatri.com does not support other file formats.
We review all the photographs which are directly uploaded by the members and your photograph will be uploaded within 48 hours. Just as we allow all the members to directly upload the picture, we also reserve the right to remove/ delete the photographs. We apologize for the inconvenience in this regard.
At times there is a possibility that the picture was not uploaded due to some technical error and we therefore request you to re-upload the picture and follow the same procedure of uploading.
To change your photo on Inmatri.com you need to have a scanned photo in JPG format. All you need to do is log in to www.inmatri.com with your user name / email id and password, choose the option of Upload / Change photo in My Inmatri Section and upload the new photograph.
The earlier photograph will automatically be replaced with the new photograph you uploaded.
Yes. Inmatri.com allows you to upload a maximum of 2 photographs on the site.
I am sorry you cannot delete your photograph directly from the site. You can call the customer service team on +91-022-67366770/6771/6772 or Write to Customer Service.

As a Premium Matrimonial Member you can use premium services and features that are not available to free members. However you will be given the contact details only when both of them have shown interest in taking the alliance further.
All you need to do is go to the Search Options, enter your preferences and view all profiles. Once you find a profile suiting your requirement simply click on "Initiate Contact" option to send a communication.
NOTE: Being a Free Member you cannot contact more than 50 members in a day.
Being a Paid Member you cannot contact more then 100 members in a day.
Yes you can. Inmatri.com allows you to contact potential partners for free. You can do this simply by using the "Initiate Contact" button found at the bottom of each profile. This will let the member know that you are interested in them. However, you will need to be a Premium Member to send personalized messages to other members. Your chances of getting a response increase if you send personalized messages and hence we recommend that you sign up for a premium membership. Become a Premium member Now
You may Accept or Decline contacts based on whether you like the initiating member’s profile or not. When you Accept a member's contact you are allowing that member to send messages to you. When you Decline a member you deny that member the chance to send messages to you.
It is really simple. All you need top do is log into your Inmatri.com Account. Refer the My Account Section. You will see a list of profiles that have contacted you. If you click on the user name, the entire profile of that person will appear with two options: Accept and Decline at the bottom. You may click Accept or Decline as applicable.
If you are a Premium Member you can definitely send a personalized message.
You can send a customized message to any member of Inmatri.com irrespective of the kind of matrimonials membership package they are subscribed to. However, you must be a Premium Member to send customized messages.
Members who have a free subscription to Inmatri.com can only contact or reply to messages that they receive from other Premium Members.
As soon as one of our members contacts you, his/her message would be instantly transferred to the Email address which you had given when you registered with Inmatri.com. Alternatively , you can check the same in your My Account Section post you log in with your User name/ Email id and Password.
I am afraid but you will not get the contact details as you are not a premium member with Inmatri.com.
In case you liked a particular profile, you may use the Messaging option on the site. You can also call the Customer service numbers of Inmatri.com who will assist you and establish a contact with that member on your behalf. (This will depend on the kind of membership chosen amongst the both members).
Click on the Membership Options link on the home page and select the membership that you are looking for. Click Pay now. You can then make an online credit card payment. Services will be activated once you the payment is honoured by the Bank and approval code released.

We accept online credit card payments also.
You can pay us online using your credit cards. We accept all the leading credit cards. Your card will be charged in Indian Rupees and will reflect the foreign currency amount based on the exchange rate for that day.
Making an online payment through credit card is the fastest way to activate your premium services. We accept all the leading credit cards (Visa as well as Master cards) . Alternatively you can make cash payment for which a receipt will be provided or a Cheque / Demand Draft favoring Inmatch.Com Internet Ventures Private Ltd.
Yes you can make the payment using a debit card also.
It will take 48 hrs within which your profile will be active on our site as Premium client.
If you have send a demand draft or cash amount by courier, there is a possibility that we have not received the same and hence the services are not activated. If you have made a Cheque payment, there is a possibility that the bank has not honoured the cheque. Hence please call the customer service desk on +91-022 - 6736 6770 / 6771 / 6772.
No refund would be entitled under any circumstances if you choose to terminate the membership with InMatri.Com.

To search for your matrimonial partner, you can click on the My Search Section post logging in with user name / email id and password. You can use the Normal Search / Advance Search / Photo Club Search and the Quick Search options. You can also Use the Quick Search option available on the Home Page.
  • The My Search Section gives you a detailed search option. It includes height, religion, community, marital status, age, complexion, body, with or without photographs, and City country. It further has an Advance search option which will include not only the options mentioned in the Normal Search profile but also the Education, Occupation, Income, Caste, Manglik etc.
  • The Quick Search option on the Home page allows you to find a partner on the basis of the Country they live in, their Religion, Community and Age. You can make a search on profiles with or without the photographs.
  • In case you already have a specific user name, then the search can be done by using the link "Profile Search" Enter Profile Id.
When you see a profile with a Gold icon, it means that the client is a Premium Gold client with Inmatri.com.

If you have searched and liked a few profiles, you can Initiate a Contact directly from the site and send a personalized message. (This would depend on the Subscription you have opted for)
The Saved search option allows you to save up to a maximum of three searches with different criteria. After saving a search, all you need to do is Run the same again and get the list of members who suit your profile.
You can save a maximum of 3 search parameters with different criteria.
Yes you can edit the existing saved search.
You have an option to delete your saved search and create a new one with a different criteria.
You can edit most sections of your profile online. These changes occur instantly. As soon as you successfully login at Inmatri.com, you arrive at the Member Home page where you are given the option to modify your registration. You need to use the option Edit Profile in the My Inmatri Section and edit the information like your height, body type, photograph, personal description, etc but you are not allowed to change the fields marked in Red (for eg User Name, Marital Status, Sex, Religion, and Date of Birth cannot be changed). If you wish to change the field marked in Red, Wite to Customer Service.
In case you require to remove your profile from Inmatri.com Write to Customer Service and mention a valid reason for removing the profile from our website. Alternatively you can call the Customer Service Team on +91-022-67366711/98210 65980 and request for Deletion.
To view your own profile, login to Inmatri.com with your User Id / Email Id and password. Refer the My Inmatri Section and then click on 'My Profile' to view the complete profile.
Every profile on Inmatri.com is screened before activating. This process will take 48 working hours. You will receive an intimation once your profile is activated.
Your profile will be active as long as you wish or till you get married.
Yes Inmatri.com allows you to hide your profile for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 30 days.
You need to click on the My Profile option in the My Inmatri Section and Hide the profile. You need to mention the no of days for which you would like to hide the profile and say Submit.
No. If you choose to hide your profile then it will be hidden from all members of Inmatri.com.
You would have specified the no of days when you wish to hide your profile for. Post that your profile will go LIVE automatically on the site. You need not give us a reminder.
